Every year, the one event that the students of Mathematics eagerly look forward is the inauguration of Assumption College Mathematics Association (ASMATAS 2k24), as this day marks the beginning of a forum which makes campus life enjoyable. The event began with a prayer song and HOD. Dr. Jikcey Issac delivered welcome speech.The lighting of lamp was in the presence of the chief guest Ms. Sandra Theres Tes Mathew, Associate Project Management Kyndryl Solutions Pvt Ltd, Manyata Tech Park, Bengaluru, Karnataka. She was a former student of Assumption College Mathematics Department and she shared her experience in college and the advantages of studying mathematics. The formal session ended with a vote of thanks. After the formal session the students performed vibrant programs.
