The Department of Home Science conducted a seminar on "Care Your Liver - Bringing Hepatitis Care Closer To You" as part of World Hepatitis Day-2022 on 27th July 2022 at 11.00 am in Mar Powathil Hall, Assumption College Autonomous, Changanasserry. The alumnae of the Department Mrs. Archana Nair, Registered Dietitian, Ministry of Health Seychelles (she is also working as Certified DE, Clinical Dietitan at Matha Hospital, Kottayam and Consultant Dietitian in DWD Team). The resource person discussed the types, symptoms, dietary prevention and management of hepatitis with the help of case studies. After the session there was an open discussion about the topic as well as the students interacted with the resource person regarding the career opportunities in the field of dietetics in abroad as well as within the country.
