Millet Campaign 2023

The Department of Home Science conducted a two-day Millet Campaign 2023 as part of the International Year of Millets and Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2023. The campaign was conducted as an Exhibition of Millet Recipes and Awareness class on the Importance of Millet Consumption on 27th September 2023 from 11 pm to 3 pm at Powathil Hall, Assumption College. After that on 28th September 2023 an invited talk on the topic- “Mastering Millets- Unlocking the Nutritional Power of Ancient Grains” was conducted by the resource person Mr. Arindam Deb, PhD Scholar (Agronomy), College of Agriculture, Vellayani, Kerala University through online platform Google Meet at 2 pm to 3:30 pm.
