As part of World Environment Day the PG Department of History and Research Centre, Assumption College Autonomous celebrated Environment Day on June 6, 2024 with a special event to raise environmental awareness and inspire action among students. The department organised a poster exhibition featuring students' creative works, highlighting critical environmental issues and proposed innovative solutions. This initiative celebrated student creativity and underscored the importance of understanding historical contexts in addressing ecological challenges. Faculty members, students, and visitors had the opportunity to engage with the posters and discuss the role of history in fostering a sustainable future.
