This is a new initiative of the Department of Computer Science to have a forum for discussing the matters related to science and technology. “Radiance” is a session to spread happiness in sharing knowledge in the science & technology arena among the students of the department. In this session, the students are doing flash presentation sessions, class-wise in a monthly series. The 1st session was done by BSc Semester 5 students on June 15 at 4pm, via Google Meet. The class-in-charge Ms Mary Jaya V J and the head of the department Ms Sherin Babu, were the reviewers of the session.
Session 1 : June 15, 2021 - 1st session was done by BSc Computer Science Semester -5 students on June 15 at 4pm, via Google Meet. The class-in-charge Ms Mary Jaya V J and the head of the department Ms Sherin Babu, were the reviewers of the session.24 students did flash presentations on topics varying from biological science, material science, biochemistry, medicine & healthcare, atmospheric science to cosmology.
Session 2 : June 22, 2021 - 2nd session was done by BCA Semester -5 students on June 15 at 4pm, via Google Meet. The class-in-charge Ms Amalu Jacob and Ms Chinnumol K V, were the reviewers of the session. 21 students did flash presentations on topics like artificial intelligence, IT and physical sciences.
Session 3 : July 26, 2021 - 3rd session was done by BSc Semester -2 students on July 26 at 4pm, via Google Meet. The class-in-charge Ms Anu Joseph and Ms Mary Jaya V J, were the reviewers of the session. 22 students did flash presentations on topics like communication devices, cosmology, archaeology, and IT.
Session 4 : July 28, 2021 - 4th session was done by BCA 2nd Semester students on July 28 at 4pm, via Google Meet. The class-in-charge Ms Chinnu Varghese and Ms Priya Joseph were the reviewers of the session. 26 students did flash presentations on topics like communication devices, cosmology, archaeology, and IT.
Session 5: Dec 4, 2021 - The 5th session meeting started at 6.00 pm. Platform was Google meet. 23 students from 3rd semester B.Sc computer Science class did short presentations of 2 minutes duration on trending technologies. Students researched well about the selected topic and delivered their presentations. The class-in-charge Ms Anu Joseph was the reviewer of the sessionThe program was attended by 36 students from second year and first year BSc Computer Science. Program ended at 7 pm.
Session 6: Dec 4, 2021 - The 6th session meeting started at 5.30 pm via Google meet. 29 students from 3rd sem BCA class did short presentations on latest IT enabled technologies and science and technology matters. Ms Chinnumol KV and Ms Priya Joseph were the reviewers of the session. The program was also attended by I DC BCA students. Program ended at 6.30 pm.
