Talrop conducted a Job Mission Orientation session on 25 July 2023 for BSc and BCA first-year students at Powathil Hall. Jobin S L, CEO of Ykipp, facilitated the session.The session began with a brief introduction of Talrop and its mission to bridge the gap between the industry and academia. Jobin then spoke about the importance of career planning and how students can start preparing for their future careers even in their first year of college. He shared some tips on identifying their strengths and interests, researching different career options, and building their skills and experience. Jobin also discussed the different ways the Talrop company can assist students in finding jobs, including skill training, internships, Career tracking and attending job fairs. He emphasised the importance of being proactive in their job search and not waiting for opportunities to come to them.
Talrop, a leading IT company, is offering a new program to provide training and placement to 25 students at Assumption College in the Department of Computer Science. The three-year program will consist of three phases: training in software development, job placement with Talrop, career cracking courses, and definite placements.
The session concluded with a Q&A session where students could ask Jobin questions about their career plans and Talrop's mission. Overall, the Job Mission Orientation session was a valuable resource for students who are interested in learning more about career planning and job search strategies.
