Innovating with AI: Students Dive into Generative AI Workshop

On October 30, 2024, Assumption College, Changanassery, hosted an impactful Generative AI workshop, drawing 77 students from BCA, BSc Computer Science, and MSc Computer Science programs. The workshop featured two parallel sessions led by experienced faculty and core members of Blankspace community, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kanjirappally, tailored specifically for BCA and BSc/MSc students. Participants explored the exciting world of generative AI, gaining hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools in text-to-image generation, image editing and text creation. The sessions also delved into the ethical dimensions of AI. The workshop was met with enthusiasm and left students equipped with valuable insights and practical skills to lead in the evolving AI landscape.
