10th October is celebrated as Mental Health Day. To commemorate the event, the Chemistry Association of Assumption college Changanacherry, Azimuth organized an interdepartmental film review competition and essay writing competition. The programme was coordinated by Anu James, a faculty member, chemistry. The student coordinator was Gayatri S. of 2nd DC Chemistry.
Film Review Competition
Anjitha S Kumar and Navya Murali of the 2nd DC Chemistry coordinated the competition. The film was given to the participants who adhered to the theme of mental health. Nearly 20 students of various departments participated in the competition. The film review competition was won by Nikisha Merin Abraham of 1st-year BACE.
Essay writing competition
Aavani MS and Anjna Elesa Joseph of 2nd DC chemistry coordinated the essay writing competition. Nearly 20 students from different departments of the college competed. The topic given to the participants was ‘self-care activities that you do at home.’ Christeena Treesa Antony of 2nd DC English Literature won the competition.
