Zero Emissions Day was celebrated on 21st September 2021 by our NSS unit with the idea to give the world a break from fossil fuels and to raise awareness about the harm caused by carbon emissions. So we are taking up a challenge of reducing the carbon emissions, by planting a carbon neutral tree - Teak Tree.
About 37 second year NSS volunteers participated in the carbon neutrality challenge by planting teak trees.
