World Braille Day is celebrated on January 4th every year, to create awarnesss among the public about the importance of braille as a means of communication for blind people. As part of world braille day 2024, the NSS unit conducted a visit to the Government High School for the Blind, Olassa, Kottayam, on 19th January 2024. The volunteers intrecated with the students at the school. The NSS unit donated 12 USB drives to the blind students of standard 5, 6 and 7 for their academic purposes and it was handed over to the school headmaster Sri Kurien E J.
