As a part of International Women's Day, the NSS unit conducted a menstrual cup orientation session to the first year NSS volunteers, on 7th March at 2.15pm in the Powathil Hall. Senior NSS volunteer Ms Swathija Parvathi conducted a class on menstrual cup, its use and benefits. The menstrual cup is a revolutionary change that helps women and nature. She also explained how to use it and why it is better than any other sanitary product. Ms Ann Maria welcomed the gathering and Ms Angel Rose delivered thanks you. About 85 volunteers participated in the event.
