On June 11th a webinar was conducted on gender equality & POCSO Act 2012 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in partnership with Sakshi NGO and NSS Unit of Assumption College, Changanassery. The programme started at 3:00pm and it was conducted through Zoom meet. The chief guest at the meeting was Dr. Aditi Kishore who is the Head, South India Rakshin Project & Trainer, Sakshi NGO, Delhi. She spoke about the Role of Rakshan in creating awareness to facilitate a safe space and about reporting child sexual abuse and about POCSO Act 2012. After that Ms Sherin Babu, Program Officer delivered a feedback speech and Ms Jovan Maria Raju offered vote of thanks. About 89 volunteers attended the meeting. The meeting ended at 4:45pm. All the participants were given Rakshin Level1 Fellowship certificate.
