UDID Card or Unique Disability Identity card is an initiative by Government of India with a view of creating a National Database for PwDs, and to issue a Unique Disability Identity Card to each person with disabilities. The NSS unit of Assumption College, in association with Social Justice Department of Kerala- Kottayam District Office conducted a training session for the volunteers, for doing data entry of the PwD persons to the website. The training session was led by Smt Sangeetha S Sasidharan,
District Co ordinator of Kerala Social Security Mission - Vayomithram project, on 23 February 2024. About 104 volunteers registered in the website and did data entry of about 1000 PwD persons, during February 27-March 10, 2024.
