On 29th August 2024, the NSS unit of Assumption College Changanassery in association with Women’s Forum and Sargakshetra organized a hair donation program named "Tresses for Hope." The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Rev. Alex Praikalam, Director of Sargakshetra. The Honorable Principal of Assumption College, Rev. Dr. Thomas Joseph, delivered a heartfelt message emphasizing the importance of hair donation. He commended the students for their generosity and encouraged others to support similar causes. His address underscored the impact of such acts of kindness in bringing hope and comfort to those in need. The hair donation program commenced at 2.30 pm at the seminar hall of Assumption College with huge support from the students who were willing to donate their hair to those in need.
