As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, the NSS unit of Assumption College has conducted a cleanliness drive at the Changanassery Railway Station on 1st October 2023. Government of India has urged the citizens to devote one hour of Shramdaan on 1st October from 10 am to 11 am, with the slogan "Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta Ek Saath” to clean the neighbourhood areas under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. In accordance to it, the NSS volunteers gathered at the Changanassery Railway Station at 9.45 am. The cleanliness drive was inaugurated by Changanassery Railway Station Health & Sanitation Head, Mrs. Resmi N. The volunteers did one hour cleaning drive at the station premises, under the leadership of programme officers Ms Sherin Babu and Dr Nisha N C.
