On 9th of October, the NSS unit of Assumption College Autonomous arranged an awareness session on POCSO Act for the volunteers at Powathil hall. Kottayam Narcotic cell senior civil police officer Shailammal P. N., gave a lecture about POCSO Act and some examles regarding it. Janamaithri Pink Protection Beat Officer Minimol. K. A mam gave an awareness about vehicle rules and the increasing use of drugs in society. Both the sessions was very informative for the volunteers.
