The NSS Unit, in association with Health Club and Department of Zoology organized a highly informative and engaging awareness class on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOD) for the college students on 25th September 2023. The session was conducted by renowned Gynecologist, Dr. Sr. Ancy M. Kurian, MBBS, DGO, MD, Senior Resident, who is an experienced gynecologist in Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla. The aim of the class was to educate students about PCOD, its causes, symptoms and management as well as to promote overall women’s health. All the second year volunteers were participated. The interactive session encouraged volunteers active participation as well as rectified the queries raised by them.
