Assumption College NSS unit started a Palliative Care unit named "Santhwanam" and it was inaugurated on 21st February 2023 at 1.30pm in the Powathil hall. Santhwanam Palliative Care unit was inaugurated by Mr Ajinlal Joseph, Kottayam District Palliative Care coordinator, National Health Mission. After the inaugural ceremony, Ajinlal sir delivered a talk on Palliative Care. About 180 NSS Volunteers participated in the programme.
