The NSS unit of Assumption college actively participated in the Pulse Polio Immunization Program at Primary Health centre, Kottamuri, Changanassery, on Sunday, March 3, 2024. The main aim of this campaign, which was established by the Government of India, is to eliminate poliomyelitis (polio) in India by vaccinating all children under the age of 5 years against the polio virus.The volunteers helped the health workers in organizing and conducting the immunization programme. Sweets were distributed to the polio vaccinated children.
