India Government announced several Welfare Schemes for a cross section of the society from time to time, to provide them social security and a healthy and happy life. The NSS unit of Assumption College organized an awareness session on various PM welfare yojanas and Mahila Samman Savings certificate scheme for the MGNRE workers in the Vettithuruthu area, on 14th October 2023, from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm at the St. Antony's Church Parish Hall. Dr Nisha N C, the NSS Programme Officer, was the resource person. About 25 MGNRE workers participated in it.
