The Kottayam district administration organised an online seminar session to commemorate the World Blood Donors Day. The programme was mainly aimed at encouraging the NSS voulnteers and youth in the voluntary blood donation campaign. The programme was telecasted through the official FB page of the District Collector. The District collector Smt M Anjana inaugurated the programme and the speaker of the day was Dr. Chitra James, Assistant Professor of Transfusion Medicine, Medical College Hospital, Kottayam. About 70 volunteers from our unit participated in this programme.
