An online NSS Orientation class was conducted on 4/11/2021 for the 1st year students of the NSS unit of Assumption College Changanacherry. The meeting was held via Google meet at 3:30pm. The meeting began with the Welcome Address of Dr Shoniya Thomas, Program Officer, NSS unit. 67 students attended the meeting. The class was led by Dr. Sr Jeseseena Mathew, Head, Dept. of Malayalam and former NSS Program Officer of Assumption College. The resource person shared her experience with the NSS volunteers. She spoke about the formal and informal education and the elements required for our personality development. She reminded that each NSS volunteer has a responsibility to work for the community. She also shared about the activities carried out by the NSS units in college in the previous years. All the volunteers attended the meeting with great enthusiasm and interest.
