Union Shikha, in collaboration with TV channel Surya Comedy presented “Melam”, the College Onam Celebration on 22nd August. The Presidential Address was given by Rev. Fr. Dr. Thomas Joseph Parathara, Principal, after which the Onam message was shared by Dr. Meerabhai Amma, former faculty of the Language Department (Sanskrit) of Assumption College. Maveli’s much awaited entry and entertaining interactions filled the students with excitement. The Goshayathra competition, an Onam themed procession within the college was conducted and the winners of the competition was the Department of BCA with the department of BFT coming in second.
