On July 28th, the NSS unit of Assumption College, Changanassery, celebrated World Nature Conservation day. This day is celebrated every year with the objective of creating awareness about the need to preserve the environment and natural resources in order to keep the world healthy. NSS unit 4 in association with Bhoomithra Sena Club conducted the programme. The progamme was held under the leadership of Smt. Sherin teacher and Dr. Nayana teacher. The meeting started at 4:00pm through Google meet. Jessa Chennattussary did anchoring. The programme began with NSS Anthem by Gopika Krishna Jayan. Haseena Muhisan took the session. She spoke about the problems faced by nature and the precautionary measures. After that, Shalmiya Shaji offered vote of thanks. About 76 volunteers attended the session. The meeting ended at 5:00pm.
