The NSS unit celebrated National Youth day on 12/1/2022 by conducting several programmes. Tree planting was done in the college premises under the leadership of Program Officers Ms. Sherin Babu and Dr. Nayana Joseph. Also, a webinar was organized for the first year NSS volunteers via Google meet at 8:30pm. Ms. Feba Theres Sebastian, Anchor, Student TV 24 News channel was the chief guest of the day. She spoke on the topic of role of young women in nation building and the empowerment of young women. Followed by her speech, a video presentation on the life and teachings of Swami Vivekanada was conducted by the volunteers of History & Museology dept. The a quiz competition based on the life of Swami Vivekanada was conducted. The meeting came to an end at 9.30pm. 56 NSS volunteers participated in the event.
