On 19 th of September, as a part of International Year of Millets,the NSS unit of Assumption College started millet farming at St. Mary's UP School, Thuruthy. Volunteers sown the seeds of raggi and other millets on the school ground. Around 26 volunteers including first years and second years became a part of it.
