A low-carbon lifestyle reduces greenhouse gases and saves resources. It lowers our exposure to chemicals and pollution. A low carbon diet is an eco-friendly diet consisting of foods that leave a minimal carbon footprint. The goal of the diet is to reduce the total greenhouse gas emissions produced by the food of which a person eats. The NSS unit of Assumption College conducted an awareness program to make a healthy planet and a healthy life style to be adopted by the volunteers for this sustainable lifestyle and help them think twice before consumption. Take only what we need. Make a better choice.
69 volunteers participated in the event. http://www.eatlowcarbon.org/
