As a part of International Yoga Day celebrations across the globe, NSS unit of Assumption College Autonomous arranged a training session for the students of St. Mary's UP school, Thuruthi. Dr. Nisha NC, Programme Officer addressed the participants on the importance of yoga and its practice in our daily life. The training started with warm up excercises by the trainer, Ms. Else Maria Joseph. All the students practised different asanas and importance of each asana explained simultaneously. The program ended with vote of thanks by Sr. Mariett, Headmistress, St. Mary's UP School.
