Oct 1 is celebrated as as the International Day of Older People. This day is celebrated by raising awareness about issues affecting the elderly, and to appreciate the contributions that older people make to the society. As part of the International day for elder persons, NSS Volunteers of Assumption college spend happy moments with their grandparents, gave gifts to them and took selfie with grandparents.
