On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the NSS unit of Assumtpion College conducted a plastic collection drive with the intention to create awareness about the harmful effects of single use plastics and its impact on the environment. The location was the Changanssery Railway Station - Old Building and its premises. The volunteers collected the plastic waste like bottles, covers, plastic cases from the surroundings and it was handed over to the Railway Sanitation & Health Workers. The activity was coordinated by NSS PO Ms Sherin Babu and Dr Nisha N C.
