On 12th December 2023, the NSS unit of Assumption College conducted an awareness class on Energy Conservation. The class commenced at 11:30am at the Powathil Hall. The class was led by second year NSS volunteers at Assumption College Ms Linda Mary Soy and Ms Akhila David.The class revolved around the topic of what Energy is, the different forms of energy, different types of energy. The practical usage in life on how to conserve energy and various conservation tips were also discussed. The session concluded with the importance of 3R’s - reduce, reuse and recycle. The class was attended by a total of 83 first year NSS volunteers.
