The National Service Scheme Unit 4 of Assumption College (Autonomous), Changanassery, organized a CPR First Aid Awareness Program on 15th January 2025. The session began at 9.15 am with the aim of equipping participants with essential life-saving skills and raising awareness about the importance of CPR in emergency situations.
The session was conducted by experts from Cardiac Edu Health Care, who provided a comprehensive and interactive session on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Volunteers and students were taught the theoretical aspects of first aid and CPR, followed by practical demonstrations. Participants also had hands-on training to ensure they gained confidence in applying these techniques in real-life emergencies. The program was highly informative and received positive feedback from attendees. The NSS Unit thanked the team from Cardiac Edu Health Care for their valuable contribution. This initiative successfully empowered students with vital first-aid knowledge, reinforcing the importance of being prepared for medical emergencies.
