Plastic bags have become a serious environmental concern due to their accumulation in our surroundings. To enhance the awareness and induce the behaviour of cloth bags usage instead of plastic carry bags in people, the NSS unit distributed cloth bags to the Kudumbasree members in Vazhappally area on 5th March 2024, at 4.30 pm. The activity instils the public about environmental consequences of plastic bags and the benefits of adoption of reusable alternatives.
