As a part of the 'Clean India' programme, to phase out single use plastic from our country, the NSS unit in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra Kottayam and Changanacherry Municipality, organized a collection drive of single use plastic. The event started at the Laikkadu Bypass junction and moved towards the Railway station junction. 26 volunteers participated in the single-use plastic picking process.
