The NSS unit of Assumption College celebrated the centenary year of legendary freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi's' Loin Cloth' revolution, in association with SB Colllege, Changanacherry and Changanacherry social service society, on March 4th at 3 pm. A “Vilambhara Jadha” was conducted as a part of the celebration, from Aramanapady to SB College ground. The Circle Inspector of Police, Changanacherry, Mr Richard Varghese, flagged off the rally. 49 second year NSS volunteers participated in the rally, wearing Gandhi caps and presenting posters related to Khadi.
