On 16th June, there held an awareness programme named “Campaign – 12: Anemia Awareness” by our NSS unit in association with ICPS Madapally Additional & Dept of Women and Child Department, Government of Kerala. NSS volunteers of Assumption College, Changanassery attended the meeting. The programme started at 3pm through Google meet. Ms. Indira, CDPO, ICDS Madapally welcomed everyone. NSS program officer of Assumption College, Smt. Sherin Babu offered the felicitation speech. The chief speaker was Dr. Rohit. S. Jayaraj, MBBS, DDM, who is the Medical Officer of Seashine Hospital, Thirikunnapuzha. He spoke about the problems that will cause due to the decreased level of hemoglobin in women and also about the preventive measures. There was a question-answer session at the end of the session. After that, Ms. Remya S, Supervisor, ICDS Madapally offered vote of thanks. About 85 volunteers attended the meeting. The meeting ended at 3:45pm.
