National Service Scheme unit along with the Dept of Social Work and the Changanacherry Social Service Society, organized World AIDS day celebrations on 1st December 2023. Red Ribbon Club inauguration was also done as part of this day observation. Dr. Felix Johns, Professor, Dept. of Community Medicine, Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla inaugurated the Red Ribbon Club. HIV-AIDS awareness session was handled by Dr. Dency Davis, Assistant Professor, Pushpagiri Medical College. Her informative session dispelled myths and addressed concerns about HIV-AIDS, explaining precautions to take.
