As part of Government of India's new scheme “New India Literacy Programme" for the period FYs 2022-2027, the NSS unit of Assumption College conducted a training session on fundamental digital skills and mobile usage to the Kudumbasree members of the Palathrachira area, Vazhappally, Changanassery, on 5th March 2024 at 4pm. The programme was organized at the Anganwadi 68 of Vazhappallly. Smt Smitha Sunil, Counsellor of Ward1, Changanassery Municipality inaugurated the session. The NSS volunteers explained basic smart phone usage practices, email, social media platform usage etc and gave hands-on training to all the participants. Around 17 kudumbasree members participated in the training session.
