The NSS unit of Assumption College celebrated the Constitution day by reading the preamble, on 26th of November. Constitution Day or 'Samvidhan Divas’ is celebrated in our country to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950. About 147 volunteers took part in the preamble reading ceremony via online at https://pledge.mygov.in/constitution-day/ and obtained their e-certificates.
