BSc Computer Science

The Bachelor of Computer Science is a three-year programme that began in 1995 and it consists of six semesters of six months duration each. The programme follows Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). This programme help students gain a technical understanding of core computer science principles as well as the skills needed to build computer systems and applications.

This is the first aided BSc Computer Science programme under Mahatma Gandhi University. The students of BSc Computer Science have secured numerous university ranks to their credit. Every year, around 30% of students are placed through various campus placement drives in companies like Infosys, Deloitte, TCS, Wipro, CTS, HCL, Sutherland Gobal Services, UST etc. After the graduation in Computer Science, the students can opt for higher studies in Master’s programmes like MCA, MSc Computer Science, MSc Data Analytics, MSc Software Engineering, MSc Data Science, MSc Cyber Forensic, MSc Cyber Security etc.
